Reminders carry your studio address
Every reminder carries your studio address and keeps the date. Times pick in 15-minute steps.
Reminders carry your studio address
- Add your studio address at the top of Automated messages, Appointment reminders. Every reminder carries it as the place line. Only booked clients see it.
- The date and time sit inside your reminder words as a chip. You can move the chip, and you can't delete it, so every reminder names the date.
- Reminder words have their own Save.
- New reminders start with these words: "Just a reminder that your appointment is coming up on [date + time]! If anything changes, reply here." They send 7 days and 24 hours before. Reminders already on keep your words and timing.
- A reminder that is off shows its heading, switch and timing only. Its words open when you turn it on.
- Reminders send between 8 AM and 10 PM in the session's time zone. A reminder due outside those hours moves inside them.
The request thread says what each reminder did
- A sent reminder reads "Reminder 1 · Sent automatically · Delivered" on the request and in Chat.
- A reminder for a client you haven't contacted yet reads "Not sending yet" and says: "Send this client a message or session link before future reminders can send."
- In People, a reminder that didn't send reads "Reminder not sent".
- A message the client never got reads as not sent on the request, in Chat and in People.
Pick times in 15-minute steps
- Approve, Offer new times, Reschedule, Quick add and your working hours pick times in 15-minute steps instead of a wheel of every minute.
- A time you saved on an odd minute stays as you saved it.
- Changing the session length while you approve keeps the times you picked.
Give every open day the same hours
- In Availability and calendar, "Give every open day the same hours" sits above Sunday. It gives every open day the first open day's hours.
- A day you turn on starts with the first open day's hours. Days you have off stay off.
Cake says why a reschedule is refused
- When another client's pick holds the time, the reschedule reads "Cake is holding this time. Choose another start time."
- When a booked session overlaps, it reads "Another Cake session overlaps this time. Choose another start time."
- Reschedule opens in the session's own time zone.
Clients see "I sent the deposit" on the pay page
- The pay page's heading reads "Pay deposit".
- "I sent the deposit" sits on a slate panel with a lime button.
Handles like ink_by_sam work on Cake
- You can claim and use a Cake handle with the _ character, like ink_by_sam.
Your approval note starts blank
- The approval note opens blank unless you saved one.
- Automated messages has a switch for each of your approval and confirmation notes that fills it with Cake's generic words. Both start off.
Smaller fixes 8 lines
- A required photo question you added to your form no longer stops a client from sending a request.
- On a phone, the Week view's day strip pins under the header again.
- The date, time and zone boxes keep their gap at phone width on Approve, Offer new times, Reschedule and Quick add.
- The back link on each settings page reads "Settings".
- Three studio errors say who couldn't do it, like "We couldn't load your calendar."
- On a phone, the Appointment reminders list no longer leaves a blank space under Reminder 2.
- Correcting a client's email doesn't re-send a reminder for a session that moved, was cancelled or has started.
- When you move a session further out, a reminder it skipped for being booked too close comes back for the new time.
