Save your approval note once

Write your approval note in Settings, and every approval opens with it. Chat, a client's page, Payments and your public page have fewer words.

Save your approval note once

Tap your avatar, then Reminders and messages, a new room under Payments. In Your approval note, write the note you usually paste, then tap Save changes. Line breaks stay.

Every approval you open starts with that note in Your note. Change it for one client and send; your saved note stays as you wrote it. Clear the box and tap Save changes, and every approval after that opens with Your note empty.

A line at the bottom of the room names what else you will set there:

  • your confirmation message
  • reminders
  • prep
  • aftercare

Cake sends your clients no reminders yet. The Notifications room in Settings still covers what Cake sends you.

Lines removed from Chat, a client's page, Payments and your public page

These lines are gone:

  • "Every client, one inbox." under the Chat title, and the line under your conversation list.
  • "Everything, in one place." under a client's name.
  • "No app to download." and the sentence saying you review the idea first, under Request a booking on your public page.

The card processing line stays.

In Settings, Payments, the instructions box is called Payment instructions and shows no sample text. The line under it reads "Clients see this on the pay page. Cake adds the reference code. Put a link in Payment link above so they can tap it." The "Where clients pay you" label is gone.

  • The Requests badge counts past sessions the way it did before.
  • Cake has a reminder planner for booked sessions. It plans a 24-hour and a 2-hour reminder and moves or cancels them with the session. It is switched off, so nothing is stored or sent yet.
  • Waitlist signups who confirmed their email join the waitlist update list. Unsubscribes and blocked addresses still hold.
