The hours you saved in Calendar, and the Google time zone fix

Calendar now draws the hours you saved, and sessions Cake writes into Google carry your time zone instead of landing hours off.

Calendar reads like your working day

Day, Week, and Month draw the hours you saved. A Tuesday that ends at four looks like a Tuesday that ends at four. A day off draws no open time. Today's column carries a live marker for the current time, so you can see where you are in the day.

Tapping a date in Month keeps you in Month. The date is selected, that date's agenda opens under the grid, and that same date is what Week and Day open on. Refresh the page and the date holds. Leave Calendar, come back through the side rail, and the date is still there; that return used to drop you into the current week.

The Google time zone fix

A client's appointment landed at the wrong hour. Cake was writing sessions into Google without saying which time zone it meant, and the times arrived off by hours.

Cake now stamps your time zone on the sessions calendar it keeps in Google and on every event it writes there. A session you set for four in the afternoon reads four in the afternoon in Google. Sessions already on your calendar were re-stamped too. You do not need to rebook anything or reconnect. The artist who reported the problem confirmed the fix on the same calendar that produced the report.

One steady sending address

Mail you send through Cake now goes out from your own steady Cake address instead of a fresh address for every request. Replies still land in the same conversation, so nothing changes about where you read them. This applies to every artist already on Cake, not only new signups.

On the books

The panel that confirms a booking now says your client is on the books. It is what you would say out loud, so it is what the screen says.
